WELCOME TO MERCURY TATTOO STUDIO & GALLERY!
Now located at 19 Donaldson St. in beautiful downtown Doylestown, PA.
After 11 wonderful years in Glenside, Mercury Tattoo has a new home in the heart of Bucks County Pennsylvania! We are truly grateful to our friends and clients who made our shop in Glenside so successful. Part of the goal in opening the new location has been to carry over the comfortable and creative atmosphere we built in Glenside. Not only did we accomplish that, but we really stepped up our game in Doylestown. This new space provided us the opportunity to build our dream shop. With the help of some dear friends, we did just that. So, though it is sad to close the Glenside location, We are extremely excited to call Doylestown our new home.*
Owner/Artist, Scott Bramble and full time artist, Frank Guthier continue to offer the same commitment and passion for tattooing that has granted Mercury such a strong reputation. To add to their offerings, Mercury will be hosting a variety of talented guest artist as well as multiple special events and art shows throughout the year. In the past we have offered things like clothing and fine art prints. We will be working harder to provide new products and art all the time. Of course the main focus and drive is always tattooing. Clients may choose to make an appointment or choose to walk-in and get tattooed. We try to offer walk-ins daily on a first come, first serve basis. Cash or Credit Cards accepted!
Another exciting aspect of the new shop is the chance to be members of the Doylestown business and cultural Community. We encourage friends and clients to take advantage of the museums, shops and restaurants that the area has to offer. We couldn’t be more excited to be here and we expect that you will be too!

WELCOME 2011!
2010 was a busy year for us at Mercury Tattoo. We said goodbye to artist Marcus Koch and welcomed Artist Frank Guthier. Frank has settled in well at Mercury Tattoo and we could not be happier to have such an inspired and dedicated person working with us! Mercury Tattoo celebrated some milestones in October 2010. We celebrated the 5 year anniversary on our Halloween themed art show ‘Pushing up Pumpkins’, the shop’s 10 year anniversary and artist/owner Scott Bramble’s 20th year of tattooing. We had a great art show and party with live music at the Blue Comet from Jason Berndt and Chris Fullerton! We all celebrated the holidays with our families and rung in the New Year with some really great news!
Mercury Tattoo Studio rings in the New Year with lots of exciting news!
First, we are kicking 2011 off by welcoming our new artist Scott Althen! Scott had done some guest spots with us in 2010 and we are proud to have him join us at Mercury Tattoo as a full time tattooer. Please check out Scott’s website: www.scottalthen.com Scott will be taking appointments as well as walk-ins.

We have a very exciting line up of guest
artistS coming in February!
We are very pleased to announce Jason Scott owner/artist of Hobo’s Tattoo and Congress St. Tattoo in Portsmouth, NH. will be working for a few days early in the month. Portsmouth has always been one of our favorite towns to visit and both Hobos and Congress St. have become two of Scott Bramble’s favorite shops to do guest spots. Jason, his wife Kim Scott and the staff of both shops have always made us feel so welcome. Jason will be taking appointments at Mercury Wednesday February 2nd and Thursday February 3rd. He will then be working the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention at the Sheraton Center City Friday February 4th-Sunday February 6th. Don’t miss your opportunity to get tattooed by Jason Scott!

The return of TURK!
Turk has had a very busy 2010 and we are happy to have him back at Mercury in 2011! Turk has a lot of clients in the area so his appointments fill up very quickly. Please call Mercury for his availability. Check out Turk’s amazing skills at his website: www.lhblk.com

This August 13th happens to be the only
Friday 13th in 2010.
To commemorate this unluckiest of days, we are planning an all day benefit for some dear friends of ours. We will be tattooing designs from sheets of flash we are painting just for the event. All of the designs of course are all themed to the day! Each design will be a set price of either $50 (less than our usual shop minimum!) or $100. To be sure we can fit everyone in for this day of luck and charity, we will be working solidly from 12 noon to 12 midnight. Look for examples of the designs we are painting to be posted here soon! Also we plan to be raffling off original artwork, prints, t-shirts, and even a few gift certificates. The raffle will be set for 8pm so get there earlier to get your tickets and win!
As for the charity part of the day’s events, the good karma will offset all the bad luck… honest. We will be donating 90% of the days tattooing and 100% of the raffle money to the friends I mentioned previously. To be clear, we chose to keep the folks names and specific circumstances private. We don’t wish to put them under a spotlight, only to give them a hand because we know they would do the same for us.
So stop back here soon to see some of the designs we are painting, and more importantly stop in on the 13th and pick up a (un)lucky tattoo for a good cause!
We are planning in doing another Friday the 13th event at the shop on Friday May 13th 2011! Friday the 13th tattoo design specials, yummy treats and shop merch for sale! Stay tuned for details!
Mercury Tattoo has so much in store for 2011 so please check back with us. We will have more exciting news about upcoming guest artists as well as some awesome shop events! Happy New Year everyone!!

Scott did a pair of paintings for the Tattoo handbook 2!
Below is a teaser photo of the paintings for the book. The concept of the project is simply the artwork needs to be related to tattooed hands, or designs for tattoos on hands. Scott did two paintings, one for each hand. They are themed to the American Civil War. Beyond that, watch out here for more info about the release date of the book itself. The artists involved in this project are all pretty amazing, and we cant wait to see all the entries ourselves!
